I am searching for my sister, born Martha Charlene Winstead, in April or May of 1947, in Newton, mississippi. She was placed for adoption in 1949 or 1950 in Texas. She is probably short, between five feet and 5'3", with auburn hair that became prematurely gray. She most likely is overweight, and has hypertension and/or diabetes. She may remember her sisters "Darse" and "BettyJean". Family members were told her adoptive parents were a "preacher" from San Marcos, Texas.
