I'm research my father's roots - Patrick Joseph Behan. He was born in Kildare, County Kildare on 15 March 1909 at, I believe 1223 Melleta Road, Campion Crescent, Kildare, though this address may be suspect. I believe that he came from a family of seven (brothers called John and Philip and one sister called Mary - I don't know the names of his other siblings). My father worked in some racing stables on the Curragh before emigrating to Burton upon Trent, England where he met and married my mother, Winifred Irene Elsie Mary Holden.
