Hi, I'm trying to find relatives of my gg grandma, Martha Ramsden. She was born around 1843 and married to John Stockton. They lived in Bolton for a while. Martha's dad was a George Ramsden. According to the 1881 census Martha was born in France. Where in France, i have no idea. It was suggested that perhaps George was a soldier and based over in France. Again I have no idea.
