My mother told me she was told once when she was very young that her mother could of had a baby and left it in a hotel in Charleston West Virginia around 1934-1938. She lived at 8-mile on Campbells' Creek at the time this could have occured. I am trying to help her find out (1) if this is true and (2) if so could there be someway of finding this out. A story in a newspaper? A foster care if there was one during that time. Any help you could give me as to a starting place would be very helpful. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
