Wm. and Ralph Foster-on concess.10,lot 17, 150 acres. 1880 Bruce Co. Hist. Atlas-Geo. Fosterwas on concess.10, lot 19( Arkwright). 1889 Bruce Directory- of Allenford, was on lot 5 Co.Bruce 1867 - John Foster was on conc.10, lot 19 Robert Foster -on concess.11, lot 17 William Foster-on concess.10,lot17 I am thinking that Robert, John and William Foster may he brothers, from Ireland -that poss. Francis Foster may be their father???The 3 younger Fosters are all abt. the same age. It appears that the Fosters may have all started out in the Port Hope and Cavan Twp. areas first before Arran Twp.? According to an IGI, there was a Robert Foster, married to Eliza Blackstock, on 27 March May 1852, at Cavan twp. I do not know yet if this is ours. It would appear so.
