Recently discovered my paternal grandmother's paternal family, Mize, probably were Jewish and came to US from Germany. Not having much information about her family history, I was intrigued to learn this tidbit and hope someone may know more than I. I believe they lived in Kentucky at one point. The only name I have is Sarah Elizabeth Mize. I know she was married to a Cutsinger and later moved to Oklahoma.
