According to IGI ,information, Robert Foster of Cavan Twp,married Eliza Blackstock, on 27 May 1852.Her parents were listed as William and Jane Blackstock??. There was a will for George Blackstock( wife Jane), who died Feb.27, 1878 @ Cavan Twp. The family listed were : Eliza Foster, Mary Jane Sutton, Margaret Jane Daimard and son George Blackstock. My gr. gr.grandfather George Warren Foster was born Oct.18, 1853, according to a bible entry.According to his homestead information for Mervin, Sask., he was born at Port Hope,Ont. Iam wondering if there are descendants for the Sutton , Blackstock and Daimard families that may have more family history for our Eliza( Blackstock) Foster, who was livingin the Arran and Amabel Twp., Bruce Co.( I have census info.). | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
