I am searching for information concerning my husband's great-grandparents, Simon M. Wilson and Caroline M. Boone Wilson. They are listed in the 1850 and 1860 census in Sumter Co. Alabama, but we don't know who their parents were, nor any other information other than that we find in the census and family lore. Their daughter, Agnes Adeline Wilson married William Raleigh Hammond, my husband's great-grandfather. According to family lore, the Wilson's house burned prior to this marriage and most of the family perished. I would appreciate any information or leads you might have.
