searching for information on John Ahern married to Kate Sullivan from County Kerry ( possibly around Castleisland area) and their siblings. My great grandfather was their son who was naturalized in the United States in St. Clair County, Illinois in 1884. He lived in East St. Louis Illinois. He married a Winifred Theresa Guerin in the United States. She was born in Limerick.Iwas told that some relatives had lived in Chicago Illinois area. Her parents were Michael Guerin and her mother,Mary Fitzgerald. We know very little about this side of our family.
