I'm trying to confirm parentage of Margaret Louise Selby, husband of Joseph Harrison Graves. William B. Graves Kentucky property neighbor Henry Selby. Did Joseph marry the girl next door? Probably! Joseph was the son of William B. Graves and Judith (Judah) Harrison who were married 29 DEC 1779 in Louisa Co., VA and both lived in Nicholas Co., KY. Richard Stauff Santa Cruz, CA 831-427-1364 Joseph Harrison Graves and Margaret Selby married 9 March 1834 in Nicholas Co., KY. Margaret (Selby) Graves and her daughter Nancy H(arrison) are listed in the Nicholas Co., KY 1850 census as 38 and 15 years old, respectively. They are my GGG-Grandmother and GGGG-Grandmother. Nancy Harrison Graves married Henry Thomas Moore. All three are laid to rest in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, Cass Co., MO. Margaret: 13 SEPT 1812 - 15 DEC 1857. Margaret spent her last 2-3 years living with Henry & Nancy in Pleasant Hill, MO. Nancy: 21 JAN 1835 - 17 APR 1900 Henry: 9 JULY 1829 - 4 APR 1909 Thank you!
