William Laverty (about whom I know nothing before the following date) married Margaret Ferguson in St George's Church in Kingston Ontario July 12 1837. Their children (and there may be others) were: Robert Jennings Laverty 1837 Walton Laverty 1840 William Laverty 1843 Thomas Laverty 1845 Mary J 1846 Margaret 1848 George 1851 George was born in Rochester NY. Most of the others in Cobourg Ontario and George died in Coburg On Oct 1887 Robert Jennings is my line. He married Caroline Niles Sept 12 1862 in Cobourg ON. She seems to have been born about 1845 to Richard and Ann Niles of Cobourg and area. They had the following children (and perhaps more): Amalia Laverty 1862 Mary J Laverty 1864 William Laverty 1864 Caroline Laverty 1867 George Laverty 1872 William is my line. He married Kate Graham of Kincardine On in Toronto ON June 3 1891. He died 1945 in Toronto ON Bill and Kate had the following children: Olive Graham Laverty 1892 Herbert John Laverty 1894 Carrie Mae Laverty 1896 Donald William Laverty 1899 Colin Edward Laverty 1902 Harold George Laverty 1905 I have quite a bit of information but am looking to trace the family back to Ireland.
