Looking for ARKADIJ ZAHAROFF (ZAHAROV). My great grandmother (Nina Guestov(f) Gestoff) was born in Moscow she married Peter or Piotr Zaharoff (he was married 2x) once communism came about they went to China and settled there with 3 children Irina (my grandmother), Vladimir and Arkadij (my great uncles). In Harbin, their daughter Irina married Edward Sommer and they had 4 children (Irina (my mother), Nicolau (koka) and Paulo. Around 1954-56? When communists occupied Harbin my grandparents set out to Brasil however her brother Arkadij stayed behind and was last seen headed for Shanghai then back to Russia. He was supposedly assigned to teach Russian to University students. (Arkadij had married and divorced a woman named Adelia together they had a son “Viktor” who left Harbin for Alhambra, Australia a town outside of East Melbourne in the state of Victoria). Noone has heard or seen Arkadij since and my grandmother (Arkadij’s sister) want to know what happened to him. My grandmother is 78 now. Arkadij is believed to be about 83-89 now. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
