Looking for any information about Marcus Simmons about 1870 to 1878. His wife Sarah Ann Elizabeth Dean married his brother John C Simmons in Austin County, 01 Sep 1878. I believe this means that Marcus died in Austin County. JC and Sarah are living in Wardsville in the 1880 Austin Co Census. Tho they lived in a mainly AA area they were both white.
