I am researching Canadian recipients of the Medal of Honor for a book. Alexander Scott, born Montreal in 1844, but often on net, listed as born Vermont, earned a MOH at Monocacy in CW. He moved to Flint Michigan in 1866 and worked in lumbering. He married Harriet A Conklin in 1868. In 1869 or 1870 they had a son William H. Alex was a Deputy City Marshall at Flint but in 1870 the family moved to Washington DC. I am looking for any info re the family at Flint, and a dob for son William.
