Hi, I am looking for info about my Great Grandfather John (or Jon) Salyers. He was killed when a cast iron lid from a wood stove fell on his head while he was fixing the fire. His wife Nan Baker had died a few years before in the 1918 flu. They had a few kids The only names i know are my grandfather Charlie Salyers and My Great Uncle Garfeild Salyers. There were some sisters but i can't find there names. They were moved from i think Kentucky by there sisters to escape the coal mines. They came to Virginia. And worked for a while at a bottleing plant and a barrel makers Thank you for any help you can give. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
