Who were the parents of William Wesley Truitt (1858-1850) and Alcey (or Elsie) Truett, who was the wife of Elijah Brown (1840-1920)? Apparently there is a missing link. Did Elisha I, of Clarke County, Ala,m have a son named Elisha or Elijah who was killed in the Civil War? Can he have been the father of Alcey, WW and others?
