Hoping to find descendants of the Armstrong family who lived in Cleator, England during the 1880s. There were several children of George Armstrong and wife, Frances, including: James, George, Joseph, William, Mary J., Margaret, Eleanor, Frances and Isabella. I know that three of the brothers left England sometime after the 1881 census, and eventually ended up in America. They may have gone to Canada first. It is said that the parents and five sisters remained in England. Would like to know what became of them. The son, William, died in his teens. Also looking for descendants of the Anderson family who lived in Egremont, England in the 1880s. William Anderson married Barbara Clements. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
