My ancestor Margaret Johnston was born in Ireland abt. 1825 to James Johnston and Margaret Jane Groves. They emigrated in 1827 to Ontario, Canada(which I do not have records for). She married James McDonald in 1845 in Gloucester Township, Carleton Co., Ontario. They had children James Dec 11, 1846 and Sarah Jan 5, 1849 in Gloucester. In 1874, Margaret was widowed and living in Mimstown, New York (which I cannot find). If anyone can find any of these family members, I would be most appreciative. If anyone can tell me where Mimstown is, that would also be helpful. I have not found them on any censuses. There were probably more children. James and Sarah must have married probably in the USA.
