Searching for birth parents and/or siblings. I was born in April 1966 in Albuquerque, NM at Bernadillo County Hospital. Not sure birth mother was from NM, possibly from Texas, and was staying with her sister in NM at the time of my birth. The story goes that my birth mother could not keep me, told the nurse who delivered me, and gave her permission to take me and let the nurses' aunt and uncle who could not have children adopt me. The nurse took me home with her without notifying the proper authorities and within a week her aunt and uncle from Missouri came to NM to get me. I was officially adopted in Missouri 6 or 7 years later. I was told that my birth mother's name was Salinas, possibly Mary or Maria. I was also told I had an older sister probably born in 1964 or 1965. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
