Looking for information regarding Margaret Delano (born c.1805-1897), born in Maine (no county or town known), wife of John Brown, born in Pennsylvania c. 1805. Margaret lived in Philadelphia after marrying and is buried in Magnolia Cemetery in Philadelphia. Her son, James Delano Brown is my great-grandfather. John Brown's exact DOB in unclear and DOD is unknown although he is not present with Margaret on the 1880 Census. His place of burial is also unknown. She is related to a Captain James Delano, of Maine, who sailed from Maine to ports south of Newcastle, DE where he apparently married and settled. Captain Delano's DOB/DOD and exact relationship to Margaret is unclear at this time. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
