Hey, I'm Peg Goldwire and I'm having a hard time connecting the dots with the other Goldwire's. My grandfather was Harper Goldwire, I don't know his first wife's name but my grandmother was Wauneen Bowman. He was a pullman porter in the 40's - 50's in Chicago and NY but was originally from southern Georgia. His mother's name was Virginia Goldwire. She was a black school teacher in Georgia. I don't know her husband's name but I'm told she was a respected part of the community in Georgia. I don't have much more to go on than that. Any help is helpful. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
