I am looking for someone in the Buffalo area who might be willing to do a volunteer look-up of the state census that occurred in 1845 and 1855 and/or a marriage record that took place between 1849 and 1853. Here is the family information that I have: I would like to prove a connection between Frederick Rienow and Henry Rienow. I believe they were brothers who immigrated from Germany, then called Prussia. I am not aware of what their addresses were in Buffalo, but would appreciate any help you can provide. Frederick (or Fred, Fredrick, Friedrich) Rienow Born 1813 in Germany Married to Louise Rienow in Germany (don’t know her maiden name) Had children in Germany: Bertha, Mary, Arene, Charles, and Bernard Immigrated in 1854 Lived in Buffalo 1854-1856 Moved to Wisconsin in 1856 Died in Mar. 6, 1893 Profession: carpenter and builder Bernard Rienow Born Apr. 14, 1851 in Germany Immigrated in 1854 (probably with father Fredrick and mother Louise) Lived in Buffalo 1855-1859 Moved to Wisconsin in 1859 Married Emma Bohnsack in Wisconsin in 1876 Had children in Wisconsin: Charles, William, and Fred Died Sept. 21, 1918 Profession: carpenter Henry Rienow Born 1834 in Germany Immigrated 1845-1849 range Married to Katrina (or Katherine or Catharine) E. Holzinger (or Hulsinger) possibly in Buffalo between 1849 and 1853 Worked in Buffalo as a cabinetmaker and carpenter between 1849 and 1853 Moved to Wisconsin in 1853 Had children: Katherine, Louisa, Mable, George, Robert E., and two others whose names I don’t know (plus one who died early) Died in Jan. 16, 1905 Thanks in advance!
