I am seeking information on the English branch of the Maybee family. I have my Maybees traced back to the mid-1700's in Portsea, Hants., England. I belong to the Maybee Society, but seem to be one of the few who is tracing English Maybees. Most other Maybees seem to have roots in Holland or France, and came to the United States and Canada several centuries ago. Common male first names in my Maybee family include Harry, John, James,and Samuel Robert.
