I am searching for my grandparents from Covington. John Philyaw, born between 1880 and 1910, not sure if he was born in Covington or just resided there. He died in 1960. Married Cynthia D Varner, born between 1911 and 1913, unsure of year. She died between 1984 and 1990, and the D. stood for either Denny or Denty. She has a brother named James. John Philyaw & Cynthia Varner had 8 children: Jewel...married a Hogg, Mildred...married a Wells, Myrtle...married a Elmore, Sudie (died 2006)...married a Johnson, Inez...married a White, Margerette...married a Kilpatrick, Peggy (died between 1974-1976)...married several times and was deaf, & John Jr...lives in Tx. Cynthia married Hamp Wiggins (died 1/4/74 in Andalusia, AL), after John Philyaw died. If anyone knows any of these people or relatives, any help would be greatly appreciated!
