I live in Northern Ireland and am looking for Oliphants who lived in Ireland - circa 1780. I have some Parish records and a photograph of the Oiphant Headstone living in Castlefin, Co Donegal. Robert Oliphant died 1868, possibly born 1790, Trying to make the connection back to Scotland. I believe there were Oliphants living In Sligo. I think there might be one or two generations in Ireland before the link back to Scotland. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
