Query Text: |
I am researching the James and Eunice Lane family who came to Calais, Maine about 1790. Their children included William, James, John, Lydia (Nevens) Joseph and Thomas Lane. Thomas was born in 1797, died in Wisconsin in 1887 and was a ship's carpenter. He married Eliza Ann Grover abt. 1821 in Calais and they had 11+ children--Isaiah Lane, Harriet Lane, Susannah Lane, Lavina Lane, Emily Lane Pettegrove, Ebenezer "Eben" Lane, Henry Lane, Lydia Lane, Elizabeth Lane Noyes Powell Thibodeau, Rebecca Lane Carlton, and Mary E. Lane Hanscom. I have been able to track some of the above children and will share my info. I am looking for information on Stephen Grover, a resident of Calais in 1810 and 1820 who may have been the father of Eliza (she went by the name of Ann Lane.) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
