I started with a simple project, explaining to my daughter -- what makes an aunt an aunt, and an uncle an uncle, etc. It was meant to be a simple family tree, but I have discovered it is quite addictive. My maternal great-grandmother's maiden name is Creveling. First name either Jenny, Jennie or Jennifer. She married Frederick Thorp, and then Robert Berger. She had one sister that I know of -- Catherine. Catherine married into the Green family. Their mother (Jennie and Catherine's) remarried a gentleman with the surname of Budd. Names associated with the family that I know of are: Thorp, Whitman, Eldridge, Creveling, Green, Berger, Budd. My grandfather grew up in Glen Gardner, NJ area. Not sure where the family originates from though. Just trying to find some more information. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
