Interested in any information about a Phebe Lapham or Latham, wife of David White, that removed from Dutchess County to Rensselaerville, New York in about 1809 with their children(Quaker and census records). Brother of David White, William White, with his wife, Joanna Palmer, also removed approximately about the same time with their family to Rensselaerville, Albany, NY. Only Phebe's first name is found in Quaker records. Her last name was found in her brother-in-law, Silas White's family bible. David White, b. October 29, 1764 in Nine Partners, Dutchess, NY was a son of William White b. 1732 in Esopus, Ulster, NY and Ruth Husted b. 1729 in Greenwich Fairfield, Connecticut. David White was probably one of the first members of the First Baptist Church of Rensselaerville, later known as the Baptist Church in Preston Hollow. Any information about Phebe, her parents, family, etc. would really be appreciated. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
