Looking for proof or information that Richard Mann or Munn b. 1770 of Huntington, Fairfield, Connecticut and Lucy Prindle, b. 1766 in Derby, New Haven, Connecticut are the parents of Elisha Mann born about 1795 in Connecticut. In about 1837 Elisha Mann married Sarah Boyle, born about 1802 in Ireland. Elisha Mann is found living in Rhinebeck, Dutchess, New York in the 1840 census until his death in 1867. Both Elisha Mann and Sarah Boyle were previously married to other spouses. I descend from their son, George Alexander Mann, b. 1840 that married Katherine Henrietta Worden in 1865 in Rhinebeck, Dutchess, New York. Would appreciate any information about these families. Family tradition passed down has Elisha's ancestors originally came from Scotland under the name Munn. Sarah Boyle's first husband was Thaddeus O'Warsaw Weapar or Weaver and they had at least one child, Katherine Weaver that maried Obediah A. Bowe in 1837
