I am looking for the parents/family of James Cokeley/Coakley. I have reason to believe that he spent most of his early years in the British West Indies, perhaps some in Ireland. It is "traditional" that he was descended from Tintern Abbey Colcloughs. Given names in Virginia are Benjamin, James, John, Daniel, and William. He was married in Antigua in 1745; died in Virginia in 1788. I think I need help from Coakleys of Cork, Carlow, Kilkenny or anywhere!!! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
