Hello, I am writing to see if ANYONE can help give me some clues to my lineage. My maiden name is Smallwood. I am looking for any info on a Cassius Marcellus Smallwood born in Marion, Ohio 1861 to a John M. Smallwood and a Margaret or Maggie "unknown". John was born in 1816 in VA and it was stated on a 1980 Census that both of his parents were born in VA also. As for Maggie she was born about 1836 in Ohio.
