Sadie Elizabeth Vener married Douglas Austin henderson on 22 Feb 1911 in Dallas Tx by Ouiten A Corley, Justice of the Peace. They had 6 children and she died from delivery complications with child number seven on 2 March 1925. Their children were Douglas Andrew Henderson born 2 Jan 1914 Dallas Tx, died 4 jan 1995 Minn. Minn Henry Clay Henderson born 8 Oct 1915 Dallas Tx died 29 August 1997 Dallas Tx Buried at Sea U S Navy San Diego Ca Sadie Orilla Henderson Corder born 25 August 1917 Dallas Tx Charlie William Hendeson born 16 June 1920 Dallas Tx died 6 Jan 1990 Dallas Tx buried Oakgrove Cem Dallas Tx Harold Edwin Henderson born 28 Feb 1922 Dallas Tx died June 2002 Nelson Barnam Henderson born 9 Aug 1923 Dallas Tx died 24 Aug 1948 Roswell NM buried Grove Hill Dallas Tx Boy March 1925 stillborn Sadie spent over half of her 41 years confined to Deep Ellum living and working in this god forsaken area. She was a designer and seamstress of womens hats and wearing apparall, running the dress shop and also helped Douglas to run his business. She was also a housewife and devoted mother. Her children and forefathers fought for what they belived to be right, to set this country free, to preserve the Union and keep it free from foreigh intervention. War of 1812 Lot Pritchett, Twelth Brigade, Caroline County Maryland Militia American Revolution and War of Independence Edward Pritchett, Lower Battalion of Militia, Dorchester County, Maryland. Sadie was born on 13 April 1884 in Terrell Tx and Died 2 March 1925 Dallas, buried Oakland Cem Dallas daughter of ANdrew Collison Vener and Mary Elizabeth Hicks. Andrew Collison Vener was born 14 May 1844 in Shelbyville Mo and died 19 Dec 1924 Dallas and is buried in Oakland Cem Dallas he was son of Benjamin Vener and Mahala Pritchett. Andrew married 1st to Elizabeth haskett in Shelby Co Missouri on 15 July 1868. she died in Goodwin Ark 13 June 1874. Andrew remarried to Mary Elizabeth Hicks in Marion Co Mo on 15 Aug 1875 Andrew was a volunteer in Co F 39th Reg Mo Inf. enlisted 13 Aug 1864 Edina Mo, appt corporal 3 Sept 1864 at Hannibal Mo and was mustered out 19 march 1865 at St Louis Mo, US Army. He was also a Mason in the Tannerhil Lodge of Dallas Tx and was a member of the Blue Lodge. Andrew and his first wife lived in Goodwin Ark and when she died he returned to Marion Co Mo where he married Mary Hicks. About 1880, and he and his family moved to Texas and lived in Kaufman and Henderson counties. The family moved form Athens henderson County to Dallas in 1910. They resdied at 1108 Fourth Avenue and he work at real estate and also as a mechanic in his son-in-law's garage near by. Mark Elizabet Hicks was born ca 1855 in Round Grove Marion Co Mo and died 30 March 1888 in Scurry Kaufman county Tx., where she is also buried. She was the daughter of James Davis Hick and Elizabeth. her grandfather Benjamin Joel Pritchett was born 16 Oct 1810 Kty and died 9 May 1889 benbow Marion Co Mo. He was buried in Pleasant Prairie Churchyard, Shelby CO Missouri. he was the son of Enamuel Vener and Mary Cole. Benjmain married Mahala Pritchett on Caroline Co MD on 19 June 1832. he was minister and member of the Bethel Mo Masoinc Lodge joining on 25 May 1848, and was buried with Honors of the Masonic Lodge. Mahala was born 20 Oct 1810 in Aberdeen MD and died 9 Feb 1880 in Bethel Shelby Co Mo where she is buried. She was the daughter of Lot Pritchett and Elizabeth Voss of Caroline Co MD. Emanuel Vener was born ca1775 and died June 1841 in Lewis Co Kty. son of Joel Emanuel Vener Emanuel Vener married 1st to Mary Cole on 5 Jan 1806, she died between 1810-1816 in Mason Kty, by Rev Wm Ratcliff a methodist episcopal minister. Mary was bron ca 1794 and died ca 1810-1815 in mason Co Kty daughter of Benjamin Cole and Elizabeth Long. He remarried to Mary Plummer 6 Nov 1816 in Baltimore CO MD He remarried a 3rd time to Peggy Epps in 1825. When Emanual died, he left his property located in Clark Co Kty to Benjamin Cole for taking care of him during his last sickness that ended in his death. The 1810 census in Breckenridge Co Kty shows three children under the age of ten. Benjamin Cole was born ca 1750 and died 12 feb 1833 Mason Co Kty he married Elizabeth Long on 15 Lov 1784 Washington Co MD. Benjmain enlisted at Frederick, MD March/April 1778 as a Private in Captain Meyer's Co, Col. Weltners German Reg. He was a Valley Forge with Pres Gen Washington. he fought at Monmouth and also in several Indeian Skirmishes. he was discharged in 1783. Am Rev War. His wife was Elizabeth Long born ca 1760 Pa, died 14 July 1856 Mason Co Kty, she and Benjmain had a rev war pension. Lot Pritchett was Mahalas father. he died ca 1823 and was the son of Edward Pritchett and Priscilla Collison. Lot 1st married henrietta Voss, on 10 August 1799 Dorchester Co MD The name of Edward is entered in error on the record of marriage, as he was already married. Lot remarried to Hester (Nathan Shannahan's widow) Brooks on 27 Aug 1816 in Dorchester CO MD Lot was drafted and served in the War of 1812 in the Twelth Brigade Caroline Co Maryland Milita. Joel E. Vener (VERAT, in the KTY Archives) died ca 1782/3 served as a Private in the VA Cont. Line during the Am Rev War in what is notw KTY. His name is listed s VERAT in the KTY Archives. He had a Bounty land warrant number 2634 in 1782. Edward Pritchett ca 1735 MD died 8 Jan 1796 MD was the son of Lot Pritchett the 1st and Ann.... Edward married Priscilla Collison Minner, a widow on 15 Feb 1779. daughter of William Collison and Priscilla... Edward served in the AM Rev War, promoted at second lieut on 19 June 1778 and served in the Lower Batt. of Militia, Dorchester Co MD. William Collison born ca 1770 Dorchester Co MD was son of George Collison Jr and Elizabeth Kemp. William married 1st to Mary Caulk and 2nd to Priscilla.... Lott Pritchett was son of John Pritchett and Margery Price of MD. He married Ann.... John Pritcchett born 1640 died ca 1711 1st married Margery Price and 2nd to Sbigail. John settled in Talbot Co MD where he married Margery daughter of john and Margery Price. he was a doctor and treated the Indians as well as the white people. and as a consequence he was held in great esteem by the indieans. To honour the Indians he named one of his sons after one of the Indian Chiefs Phunback. The will of John Pritchett Chemist, does bear out eh the fact that he had a son named Phunback. One 1 April 1679, he acquired 50 acres called Apes Hill at the month of the Hunger River in Dorchester Co Md. he acquired several tracts of land by patent or purchase in the following years and they pasted down the family.
