I am searching for Charles Durand b. abt. 1839 and his wife Augusta Deegan b.?. As far as I know they live in Belleville, Ontario. Charles' father's name was James b. abt. 1800. His mother's name was Ann Harrison b. ? Charles and Augusta had two children, James Henry b. 1861 and Mary Ann b. ? who became a nun. She is buried on one of the 1000 islands where her convent was. James Henry came to the US and married Catherine Crowley in 1891 and resided in Potsdam, NY. James Henry was killed in a train accident in 1902, leaving behind his wife and four children, Joseph, Mary, Esther and James. All his children moved to the Syracuse area by adulthood. There are now many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandhildren who are intested in this information | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
