I am doing a joint Johnson/Hosale search. Greatgrandfather Richard Lee Johnson born in Nashville, Davidson, Tennessee, USA in 1865 and died in 1957 - his records from the funeral home list his father as A. W. (Lawrence is marked out) I have been unable to connect the two. I believe that he was born and raised in same place. The Hosale Family has too many of the same given names. I know that James K. P. Hosale was born in 1844 in Sumner County, Tennessee. Married two times - Louisa Newlin and ? Had numerous children: Alford, Daniel, Robert,James, Frank, Penner Stewart, Naomi, Eva and my grandmother Mary Ellen.
