I was adopted from San Diego, CA in February of 1969 in Dr.'s Hospital. The attorney working with my adoptive parents knew the birth mother and her family but has since forgotten who they were. I believe her maiden name is Smith and she was very young. The birth father was supposedly a sailor on leave and the only other info on him was he was "of dark-skinned descent". Being LDS myself, I believe my birth mother was LDS as well, and my maternal grandmother was the Stake Relief Society president at the time. I would love to meet and thank my birth mother for her unselfishness, but mostly I am in search of health info. since I"m a mother now myself. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
