Looking for my birth parents. I was born in North Carolina the first week in June, 1955. According to my parents, I was premature. I am a 52 year old female with brown hair and blue/green eyes. I have a tendancy to gain weight. I was delivered to my parents in the first week in July, 1955. I understand that my birth mother (age 16 or 17) might have lived in Central Florida at the time. Her family physician was Dr. William Fowler and he arranged the adoption. His practice was in Orlando. An older couple used to come pick me up on weekends until I got old enough to wonder. I also understand that my birth mother is married and has children. She did not want them to know about me and therefore it was a private closed adoption. A basket of beautiful baby cloths came with me when my parents picked me up. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
