I am searching for the parents of James L. Black b. 1814 NC, died in Pickens County, Georgia. Married Teressa Lucretia Townsend. I am descended through his son, John Black, b. 22 Apr 1843, d. 12 Sep 1928, Adairsville, Bartow County, Georgia. Their other children were Mary, b.1845; Sarah A. Black, b.1847; Dicey Elizabeth Blak, b. Mar.1850; Phoebe Rchel L. Black, b.1851; Nancy J. Black, b.1854; Robert H. Black, b.1857 and Margaret M. Black, b. Dec.1859. All their children were born in Gilmer County, Georgia. John Black, b. 22Apr1843 m. Nancy Bishop. I am descended through their son John Robert, b.27 March 1871. Robert "Bob" married Reacie Caroline Byers. I am descended through their son Willie Carl Black, b. 29 May 1893,who married Jenettie Shepard Brown. My father was Kenneth J.
