Hi, I sure could use some help.I have been looking for years. Patrick H Coffey b abt.1845 married Sarah Jane Kidd she was born abt 1846.both in Nelson Ct Va. They had one son that I know of his name was William Coffey born 1870. Patrick H Coffey ,I have his pension records civil war, and papers he asked for artificial leg. I can only find them living with her father and stepmother in the 1880 census. I have looked at records for a few Williams in the area and they are not the William I'm looking for. I found a Patrick H Coffy(name misspelled)in 1900 census age was off by a few years he was a widow living with a Kidd family.It could be him? Thanks , Lorene | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
