Query Text: |
I am looking for information about siblings' families of my husband's grandfather, Robert Arthur Stewart, son of John E. Stewart and Ellen (Turner) Stewart. Robert was born July 5, 1897 in Newcastle, England. Siblings were Charles, Ada, Jane, Ethel (1892 - 1912), and Elizabeth Ann (maybe called Lizzie?) Robert and Ethel were put into Barnardo care on January 7, 1904 and both came to Canada. John E. Stewart worked for Messrs. James & Co's White Lead Workds and died of white lead poisoning on March 9, 1902 at 6 Rosedale Street in Newcastle. There was an aunt, Mrs. Blackett, wife of mechanic of 16 Blyth Street, Battlefield. Jane and Ethel corresponded. I would dearly like to learn about family members of Robert Arthur Stewart. Thank you so much. Donna Moffat | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
