Orman Descendants of Tulsa OK. Genealogy info wanted. I am trying to contact descendants of the Orman family below of Tulsa OK. 1. URIS ANDREW2 ORMAN (MARTIN1)1 was born 20 Nov 1878 in IN2. He married VIRGINIA TENNESSEE PARKER3 Abt. 1901, daughter of JOHN H PARKER and LUCINDA C BROWN. She was born 18 Mar 1883 in TX3. Children of URIS ORMAN and VIRGINIA PARKER are: i. OTTIS HOUSTON3 ORMAN3, b. 01 Jul 19013. ii. JOHN MARTIN ORMAN3, b. 26 May 1901, McKinney, TX3. iii. CECIL ERNEST ORMAN3, b. 05 Apr 1906, OK3,4. iv. EUGENE HASKELL ORMAN5, b. 20 Nov 19075. v. LILLIAN MARGARET ORMAN5, b. 10 Nov 19095. vi. EDITH FLORENCE ORMAN5, b. 14 Nov 19115. vii. BERNICE EMOGENE ORMAN5, b. 22 Nov 1915, Tulsa, Tulsa Co., OK5. A Phil Wisenhunt has said that John H Parker, father of Virginia Tennessee Parker was born in Caroling County Virginia. That family lived for a time in Bedford Co TN, moved to Collin County, TX, where they lived in 1900. They had moved to Tulsa OK by 1910. I am trying to verify the information on the birth of John H Parker and have been unable to do so.
