I am looking for the Hayter family that come from Salisbury. I am trying to find a Lady Hayter. My great Grandmother Alice Louisa Hayter was left with a family in Kingsclere. Her Mother is Sarah Jane Hayter, it has been said Sarah janes mother or herself is a Lady, and is why Alice was abandoned as she was born out of wedlock. There are several HAYTER families she could belong to, all have "Ladys". If anyone knows the person who is Lady HAYTER. Who for a short time lived in Beverley house Thatcham is, and which line she belongs to. My Grandad thinks the connection is Salisbury but i can not find any recent titled ladys that exsisted around 1897.any ideas welcomed. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
