I'm trying to prove that Stephen Barfield, of Duplin County, NC, after that from Williamson County, TN, had a first marriage in NC. My Williams Barfield was named an heir by Stephen and I can't figure out why else he'd do that. Any ideas? Thanks, Mari Byers
