We are looking for the family of Samuel and Mary Hendircks Stewart. Samuel b. 1753 East Hadden, Middlesex, CT. They married there in 1775. I believe Mary was b. 1750 in Berkshire, MA? They had 8 children b. in MA. We are interested in the son, Philander Barret Stewart, b. 1776 CT or MA? This information is for DAR membership. Is this the Samuel Stewart who served in the Revolution? We need proofs, thank you for any help. betsybutler@cox.net
