Am researching Hugh Harold Carmichael and his wife Florence Ann BENNETT Carmichael. They homesteaded at Hythe, Alberta. Hugh was born in Pembrook, Ontario and Florence was born in New Zealand. I believe that they went there right after WWI shortly after they were married. They had 6 children: Edna, Hazel, Albert, Ethyl, Helen, and James.
