I am searching the lineage of Jefferson Bolden (of African-American/Creole/Native American and reportedly some Japanese decent). Jefferson Bolden was the son of Will Bolden who married Mary Vivian Searcy. Mary Vivian Searcy also had a daughter, Edna Mae McFadden(married last name). Jefferson was born January 15, 1911 in Arkansas, I belive Phillips County, near the Helena line. Jefferson had brothers, Charlie Tucker, Eddie Tucker, Charlie Bolden, Eddie Bolden, James Bolden Amos Bolden, Minnie Bolden (Mar). I would also like to tie in to Will Bolden's parents and his brothers and sisters. Jefferson Bolden is still alive (2007) and resides in Lee County, Arkansas, he is 96 years old. His sister, Edna 98 years old resides in Chicago Illinois. Jefferson's late wife, Peoria Hollin Scruggs Bolden entered into eternal rest October 1989. They had 18 children, 16 are still living (2007); they are Eudora, Cora Lee (deceased), Alfred, Jeffrey Mae, Maxie, Lessie (deceased), Vernell, Allene, Alvia Dean, Charlie Will, William Henry, Lloyd, Joyce, Shirley, Winifred, Yvonne, Pheonix Bernard & Glenda. Will Bolden passed away when Jefferson (Jeff) was 2 months old (or right before he was born); Jefferson knew his brothers and sisters even though they had different mothers (except Edna); and enjoyed his siblings in a very special way.
