ALFORD-TATUM: I am in search of finding my biological mother and or father and possible sibilings. I was born on September 27th,1946 I believe at the Baptist Hospital in New Orleans. I was then put at the protestant home with the name (Patrick David Alford) and placed for adoption. I left the Protestant home on January 3rd,1947 and was adopted by Mrs.Monta Merle Herring wife of Joseph R Tatum and was then named Joseph Dean Tatum. Information on biological mother at the time I was placed for adoption: 5'6" 134 pounds brown hair, grey eyes, skin fair reported religion was Baptist, was believed to have been from louisiana/mississippi Her family background: Her mother died at the age of 61 from a stroke She had 5 older brothers and 2 older sisters. The eldest brother died when he was very young cause of death was unknown. The other brothers had completed high school and they were married. The eldest sister died in infancy and the cause of death was unknown. Additionaly there was one younger sibiling a girl who died after birth cause of death unknown. Information of Birth Father:: He was age 28 at the time of my birth.Believed to have been from louisiana/ mississippi He completed high school and went to work on his fathers farm.
