Can any Flintshire residents help me to clarify two different place of birth locations given on my grandmother's census returns for 1891 and 1901. One is Flint/Penffiediol which is written clearly and the other is I think Flint/Penyford which is not very clear. Her name was Ann Williams nee Owen born 1858 and Welsh was her first language. She was living in the Rhondda. I had thought she was from the Betws y Coed area, not Penyfford. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
