I am searching for the family history of a Sir James Moncur: Sir James Moncur who lived in London with his wife Ann Darby and their 10 children, He was sent to Calcutta, India in 1817 and died there. He was a commander of a Rangoon Militia Troops for England. His last child was born in 1817 just a few months before he left for India. They lived in Parish St. George in the East, Limehouse, London. The children were born in St. Ann Parish, Limehouse, London. There was Ann, Susanna, George, Alexander, Matilda, Samuel, Sophia. James, William,and Elizabeth.
