Denis Mahoney born around 1795 in Ireland and married Mary (possibly Deane/Dane)in the early 1820's in Ireland. Unsure which part of Ireland but probably Cork. They had two sons, John and Denis and three daughters Mary, Ellen and Ann all born in Ireland. The family moved to Worsbrough Nr. Barnsley in Yorkshire prior to 1841 where their youngest daughter Catherine was born. John and Ellen Deane lived with them in 1841.(I think these were the in-laws-of Denis Mahoney.) I am trying to find the origins of these two families and would be grateful for any information.
