I'am looking for my birth parents.They left me in foster care when i was 5wks old.Iwas born on jan.5/72,in vancouver,B.C.CANADA.I was told my parents were married,that they were about 21yrs old,from India.I do know they're last name is MANN and my fathers first initial is"G".They checked up on me for awhilein foster care then just stopped coming,my foster families last name was MCEVOY. My name at birth was Vrinder Mann.Now i go by Michelle Mann.born at vancouver general hospital.i weighedjust over 3lbs.i was born a month premature.the first foster home i was in,the ladies name was liz,her maiden name was shellenberg,not sure if she had a married name,but she did have lots of foster kids. she passed me along to her niece delores mcevoy,i then stayed with her till i was 14,then went to different group homes.the mcevoy family lved in raymar project at hastings and campbell ave. vancouver b.c.delores's parents were anne&henry kroeker,i was told that they knew my birth parents,but not how.i was also told that they had another girl a year later,don't know if this is true.my social worker tried many times to find my birth parents,even put ads in the newspaper,got one response,they said my parents went back to india,but would not leave their name.my social workers name was mrs.johanssen.she did giveme some info on my parents,but it was lost as i moved around alot,i remember that my fathers initial was G and i think they lived in east vancouver. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
